Vicinity began with Annie pouring scented candles by hand. First for friends and family, then for a growing community who wanted more than she could make. Our first candles were inspired by the Chicago neighborhoods we love, each one a small tribute to a place that shaped us.

Vicinity remains woman-owned, and every candle is still poured by hand. These days the pouring hands belong to Annie’s husband, Steve, and his best man, Ryan. We believe our commitment to handmade quality travels. Whether you’re across the city or across the country, the same care we poured into our own wedding candles goes into the candles we make for your wedding, your event, your milestone, or your brand.
